The success of a product relies on a whole bunch of different specialities – software engineers, designers, marketers – and it’s the job of the product manager to bring them all together into one seamless union. Even if your goal isn’t to launch a product or start your own business, the product management skill set will teach you to approach problems using a business, technology, and design mindset.
Our internships are different from the usual. Instead of leaving you on your own, we provide you with daily support and occasional classes to cover additional material. That means you'll be able to create huge value in a short time—all of which you can add to your resume to show future employers.
I’ve been teaching in various programs at universities for 20 years. I love the exchange with critical thinkers, and eternal learning. Products drive business and as a PM, you’re at the front-end of that.
This wasn't my first internship/professional experience, but it was the first time that I felt my work was particularly important. I got to redesign a product to reach a whole new market, and the company will be implementing these changes, so I am excited to track my success and learn from it.
The iX Product Management course was extremely engaging as well as challenging. I gained so many insights from the course itself and developed skills as a team member in my group and internship settings. The teaching staff was unparalleled and I am so amazed by how much I learned in such a short period of time!
After completing this program, I have found that product management is definitely something I see myself doing in the future, and not only have I gained the knowledge to be able to do this, but I have also gained an extremely talented network and helpful mentors to guide me along the way.
Taking the iX Product Management course exposed me to the parts of the industry and work process that aren’t really obvious. Being able to visualize and apply the techniques and processes we learned was a crucial thing that I really liked about iXperience. The amount of feedback and advice you get is very valuable.
iX enables students to get both a classroom and real world learning experience in a condensed amount of time. Being able to immediately use the skills I learned in class during my internship was very rewarding and showed the progress I made. The iX community helps build a motivated group of students.
I was able to gain incredible skills both in the Product Management classroom and in my internship. Working remotely, I learned really important time management and prioritization skills that I believe will be so valuable to my future student and professional experiences.
