In today's technologically-driven market, it's relatively easy to commission custom software. But is the user interface aesthetically appealing? Is it accessible and easy to use? Is the layout intelligent and is it efficient? These are the types of questions UX and UI design aims to address. It doesn't just look at interface functionality, but at human psychology. It aims to understand how we respond to different interface designs, with the goal of creating ever more intuitive and pleasing user experiences.
Our internships are different from the usual. Instead of leaving you on your own, we provide you with daily support and occasional classes to cover additional material. That means you'll be able to create huge value in a short time—all of which you can add to your resume to show future employers.

Traditional education through universities can only teach you so much. Having industry experts aid the development of your industry relevant skills will help you differentiate yourself during recruitment. The life experiences the design TA's, Head Teacher and internship companies share, provide so much value to your own personal development.
I had thought, as I’d imagine many do, that user experience design is specific to technology, applied when designing a website or an app for instance. However, after my first class I realized it can really be applied to so much more; a brand, a service, or a product. In class we’re learning by actually doing.
iX taught me to understand that design does not really require any new skills. Rather it focuses on using existing knowledge and applications to make things anew and/or better than they were before. It is closer to looking at the world through new and varying perspectives. This experience has been exciting, rewarding, and inspiring to see where this new-found perspective can bring me in the future.
I feel as though I would not have learned this material in school, and I can clearly list out specific topics and strategies I have learned. I grew to be more comfortable speaking to people I had never met before. I also started my own jewelry brand thanks to this course’s guidance!
I was pushed so far outside of my comfort zone, and looking back now, I know that is the only way a person can truly succeed. iXperience has truly opened so many doors for me, both personally and professionally. I now have a good foundation to start my own business.
